Director of the Tech-Development Company Sergei Fedin, and Evrovibukhprom’s chief engineer Vyacheslav Zamyga, made a working visit to the Polish representative of the world-famous producer of mining equipment Atlas Copco.
Atlas Copco has been a reliable partner for “Techrozrobka” and “Evrovibukhprom” for many years. During the years of cooperation with this company, a new industrial culture of exploitation and maintenance of high-tech equipment – drilling machines have been formed at our enterprises, which is a guarantee of their reliability.
Once again confirming its motto – the commitment to sustainable performance – Atlas Copco has demonstrated the excellent work of the new line of machines. Specialist of the Polish Atlas Copco office – Marcin Plachta told about the new technologies on which the company is currently working. For example, a system called HNS provides precise guidance and positioning of the machine to a drill hole and control deviations from design parameters during drilling.
Polish colleagues welcomed our specialists, willingly shared their experiences, talked about the latest developments in the field of blasting and drilling operations, and also kindly offered to familiarize themselves with the work of the well-known Swiss corporation SSE, which carries out blasting operations across Europe.
Acquaintance and communication with specialists of SSE-Polska company, Przemyslaw Puzio and Adam Marzec, allowed us to constructively analyze the technological processes of preparing and carrying out the explosion itself. What, as envisioned, made a comprehension of a number of engineering and technical processes in a new way possible, taking into account the practical experience of both parties. Our specialists were given the opportunity to observe the process of charging wells with charging machines and switching units, to evaluate the quality and outcome of an industrial explosion in the granite quarry Kopalnia Graniczna. The Kopalnia Graniczna quarry is impressive by the high level of production culture, mining surveying, and working conditions and safety.

The management of the “Techrozrobka” and “Evrovibukhprom” are grateful to Atlas Copco Ukraine for organizing and giving a possibility to see and evaluate the high level of drilling and blasting operations at the European Union’s non-metallic quarries.
